Janis Casco Blayer’s studio and plein air paintings from the Northwest, Arizona, Hawaii and abroad reflect diversity in her paintings. She has worked in a variety of mediums including oil, water color, zinc plate etching and bronze sculpture among others. Casco Blayer has studied under many internationally recognized artists, among them Leon Holmes (AU), Andrew Tisch (NZ), Mian Situ (China), Joe Paquet and Rob Liberace’ (US).
Janis’ impressionistic style captures the spirit of animals, people and landscapes with uncanny precision and emotion. Blayer’s recent move to Buckeye, Arizona has ushered in a new era of creativity, infusing her artwork with captivating southwest landscapes, cowboys, horses, and rodeo scenes.
Works are available for purchase in her studio, Valley Art Center in Clarkston, Washington, and by commission.
